Runnymede Guest House is a compact and functional three bedroomed bungalow, with all modern amenities.  Located in the midst of lush tea gardens, this island of serenity offers you relaxation and peace within the tranquil surroundings.  Or, should you so desire, ample opportunities to explore and trek your way through the tea bushes.  The lush greenery of the tea gardens soothes and rejuvenates a tired soul.

Runnymede also has the privilege of the World Heritage Mountain Railway chugging right through its premises a short distance away from the bungalow, twice a day.  Walking along the railway tracks or following the charming stream that flows through the property are a couple of all-time favourite activities.

Runnymede is a bird watcher’s paradise, and at times, wildlife, too. We get an occassional wild elephant or bison that stray onto our property.   The flora and fauna available around our Guest House is quite remarkable.

As with our other properties, there is a dedicated chef at the bungalow to exclusively cater to your culinary desires.

Located 6 kms from Coonoor, on the Coonoor-Mettupalayam Highway, Runnymede is easily accessible from Coimbatore and Bangalore /Mysore.

If you went for a trek or hiking, here would be the perfect place to relax and unwind. After all, it's not everyday that you can have a holiday, and an eco-tour at the same time. A day in the hills ending with a hot cup of tea, or maybe something a little stronger. After all, it does get a little cool and nippy in the nights.

We encourage you to visit us for bird and wildlife photography. After all, where else can you imagine stepping out of your room in the morning, right into the middle of a blooming, thriving eco system?
